If you do not wish to receive promotional material via email, please send us a blank email at info@capemudgeresort.bc.ca with a note in the subject line: “Do not send promotional material.” On the other hand, you also may send a self-addressed signed letter to the Privacy Officer, Tsa-Kwa-Luten Lodge, P.O. Box 460, Quathiaski Cove, BC, V0P 1N0 stating “Do not send me promotional material.”
When you make a reservation through the internet or via email, your personal information is also gathered and stored in our computer systems. Personal information that is essential for making, confirming, and completing a reservation typically includes:

The choice to provide us with personal information is always yours. However, your decision to withhold particular details may limit our ability to hold, confirm and/or complete your reservation. Tsa-Kwa-Luten Lodge will not and never has sold or distributed any guest’s personal information to third parties.
Electronic customer files are kept in a highly secured environment with restricted access. Paper-based files are stored in filing cabinets behind locked doors. Access is restricted. In the course of daily operations, access to your personal information is restricted to authorized employees who have a legitimate business purpose and reason for accessing it. As a condition of their employment, all employees of Tsa-Kwa-Luten Lodge are required to abide by the privacy standards we have established. Employees are informed about the importance of privacy and they are required to agree to a code of conduct that prohibits the disclosure of any customer information to unauthorized individuals or parties. All employees are expected to maintain the confidentiality of customer information at all times and failing to do so will result in appropriate disciplinary action, which may include dismissal.
